We try to reply within a few working days. For urgent corrections to a live article, please prefix the subject line with "Correction:" followed by the article title, and we'll prioritize it.
What to include
If you're reporting a correction or a factual error, the following helps us move quickly:
- The article URL or title.
- The specific paragraph or claim that's wrong.
- A primary source for the correction, where applicable.
If you're a subject-matter expert (CFP, CPA, licensed broker, real-estate attorney) and would like to suggest a story or contribute a perspective, please include relevant credentials and a brief outline of what you'd add.
What this site doesn't do
- We don't offer personal financial, insurance, legal, or tax advice. Please don't email asking what to do about your specific situation — we won't be helpful, and even if we were, second-hand internet advice is the wrong source for decisions that touch your money.
- We don't accept paid placements in editorial. If you're pitching a sponsored post, a backlink exchange, or paid product placement, please save us both the time.
